Wondercide is a Round Rock, Texas-based plant-powered pest protection brand founded in 2009 by Stephanie Boone, inspired by the loss of her dog Luna to toxic flea and tick treatments. The brand’s tagline is “Powered by Fierce Love,” and their mission is to offer proven, safe alternatives to chemical pesticides for pets, homes, yards, and families. All products use plant-derived active ingredients, primarily essential oils, and are free of synthetic pyrethrins, DEET, and other conventional pesticide chemicals.
Flea & Tick Spray for Pets + Home
The brand’s flagship bestseller and the product that appeared on Shark Tank. A plant-powered, ready-to-use spray that kills and repels fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes on pets and in the home. Available in Lemongrass, Peppermint, Cedarwood, and Rosemary scents, in 4oz, 16oz, 32oz, and 128oz gallon sizes.
Mosquito & Tick Repellent for Humans
A personal insect repellent for humans using Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus, designed for outdoor activities.
Flea & Tick Yard Spray (Ready to Use)
A hose-end yard spray covering up to 5,000 sq ft, proven to work against fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes in the yard and garden.
Wondercide was founded specifically because conventional flea and tick treatments harmed and killed the founders dog, and that origin story drives every product decision. Every formula uses plant-derived active ingredients that are proven to work without exposing pets, children, or the environment to synthetic pyrethrins, organophosphates, or DEET. The brand has verified its effectiveness through independent testing and thousands of customer reviews averaging close to 5 stars across multiple product lines. The brand also backs purchases with a Happiness Guarantee, gives back to animal shelters, and offers a rewards program, wholesale pricing, and brand ambassador partnerships.
