The Farm | Beyond Organic

On Fehu Farm, our relationship with the land and animals guides everything we do. We practice a holistic approach to farming, using permaculture principles, biodynamic influences, and rotational grazing to build living soil, regenerate the land, and nourish both our family and our broader community. This is farming as relationship — tending the earth in a way that gives back more than it takes.

The Apothecary | Holistic Herbal Approach

Fehu Farm Apothecary serves our community by weaving knowledge and intuition, combining wild weeds and heroic herbs in a grounded and balanced way. We seek to educate, empower, and demystify herbal medicine, reconnecting people to the spirit and intelligence of the plants. Our goal is to restore relationship — to the land, to the body, and to the ancient medicine that grows all around us.

The People | Kyle and Natalie Mays

Fehu Farm is tended by an Iridologist-Farmer and an Herbalist-Farmer who walk a shared path of holistic healing, ancestral remembering, and living in deep relationship with the land. Together, they weave their unique gifts to create a New Old Way of wellness rooted in nature, spirit, and community.

Natalie is trained in the Wise Woman Tradition of herbalism through the School of the Sacred Wild. She works with nourishing herbs, ancestral foods, and plant spirit communication, guiding others back into relationship with their bodies and the land. She believes a nourished body remembers its original design and naturally begins to heal.

Natalie also holds space for intuitive energy healing, weaving together Reiki, drum ritual, plant spirit medicine, and herbal anointing with healing oils. Her work supports the body in remembering its original design — the deep codes of vitality, intuition, and coherence that live within every cell. These sessions offer a space for the nervous system to soften, for old emotional holding to release, and for the spirit to return more fully to the body. The oils, infused and consecrated with intention, act as both medicine and memory — awakening pathways of presence, grounding, and inner knowing. Her work is both gentle and powerful, a return to the body, to breath, and to the remembrance that healing comes from within.

She also facilitates women’s circles, where she holds space for women to come as they are and be witnessed. These circles reconnect women to one another, to their own inner wisdom, and to a sense of community rooted in authenticity, presence, and emotional truth.

On the farm

Natalie is cultivating a regenerative medicinal herb spiral—a living sanctuary of healing plants that grows and shifts with the seasons. The spiral is both garden and pilgrimage: a place where medicine is not extracted, but grown through relationship, where each plant is tended with intention, presence, and reciprocity. As you walk the spiral, you are invited into remembrance—of your own body, your lineage, and your connection to the earth. It will be a space for community to come learn, gather, sit with the plants, and reconnect with the old ways of healing: slowly, together, and in deep belonging.

Kyle is a Diplomate of Holistic Iridology®, trained at the International Institute of Iridology® under David J. Pesek, Ph.D. His introduction to holistic healing began over 20 years ago with Ruben Schwartz, an Amish healer in the backwoods of Kentucky, where he first learned about herbs, food as medicine, and the language the body speaks through the eyes.

Iridology works with the patterns and colors of the iris, sclera, and pupil to reflect what is happening physically, emotionally, and mentally. Kyle helps individuals recognize the deeper story their body is telling, supporting them as they move into greater clarity, awareness, and healing. He also offers Men’s Coaching and Sobriety Mentoring, guiding those ready to step into a more rooted, honest, and spiritually aligned way of living. He believes healing begins at the level of spirit, settles into the mind and emotions, and ultimately expresses through the physical body.

On the farm, Kyle stewards the land through regenerative and pasture-based farming, raising poultry and eggs in a way that honors the animals, the soil, and the seasons. Inspired by the work of Joel Salatin and traditional agrarian practices, he rotates the birds through fresh pasture where they live under open sky, foraging on living grass and sunlight. Each season the soil grows richer, the land grows wilder and more alive, and the food produced nourishes not only the body but the spirit of those who share in it.

His work is quiet, steady, and deeply relational — a daily devotion to tending what feeds us.
