Clients and I develop plans together for habit change, daily maintenance, We create experiences of somatic presence and release, relief and relaxation, and inquiry — since the body knows much more than the mind most of the time.
How to know food mentoring is right for you:
- You turn toward, or away from, food, especially certain types, when you feel strong emotions; and these feelings increase in stressful times.
- You notice your annoying or even self-sabotaging food patterns, and may attempt to shake them, yet can’t; it’s like they repeat on their own, out of your control.
- Your health waivers or suffers for reasons in and out of your awareness; and despite what you’ve tried, there are still more layers of pain or illness.
- You might wonder, or have researched, that a shift in diet would ease your physical or emotional symptoms, but you’re not sure where to start.
- You didn’t receive modeling of healthy eating as a child, nor education on it as you grew; and you don’t feel confident operating in a kitchen with unfamiliar healthy foods.
- You recognize that while you may have treated your body poorly in the past, you are now ready to start a new chapter where you can trust yourself, your choices, your body’s operation, your energetic & verbal self-treatment, and your potential for healing and routine optimization.
